Aura RNG

Aura RNG is Unscathed's core progression loop. Roll from a pool of 40 auras across 7 elements, with base odds ranging from 1 in 2 (Common) to 1 in 1,000,000 (Titan's Awakening, the rarest confirmed pull).

Every roll in Unscathed pulls one aura from the game-wide pool of 40. Base odds are hardcoded in ItemConfig - the game does not "give" you a specific aura based on your progress, only luck stacking shortens the average time to hit rare pulls.

Luck is multiplicative. Your base pull chance gets multiplied by biome luck (+35% for matching element biomes like Monsoon for Water or Rapture for Demon), gem luck (element gems for the target element), potion luck (Divine, Fate, Lucky), traits (Surging Haste, Primal Ascension) and Battle Pass modifiers. Stack all six for the fastest possible pulls.

Auto-roll and Quick Roll gamepasses cut the interval between rolls but do not increase per-roll odds - they multiply the number of attempts per hour, which functionally has the same effect as luck.

40 total auras split as: 16 Common, 5 Uncommon, 7 Rare, 1 Limited, 10 Epic, 1 Legendary.

Element distribution: 16 Basic, 5 Fire, 5 Earth, 4 Water, 4 Light, 3 Night, 3 Demon. Basic auras roll everywhere; elemental auras get the +35% biome bonus only in their matching biome window.

Luck stacking formula

Effective pull odds = base_odds × biome_luck × gem_luck × potion_luck × trait_bonus × Battle Pass modifier.

Example: Fallen has base 1 in 8,888. In Rapture biome (Demon +35%), with Demon Gem Lvl 4 (+X%), Divine Potion up (+Y%) and Primal Ascension trait active, effective odds cut down significantly - the exact multiplication depends on the current game version's balance sheet.

Multiplicative stacking means each stacked buff amplifies the previous one - two +35% buffs is not +70%, it is +82.25% total (1.35 × 1.35 = 1.8225).

Rarity tier distribution

16 Common-tier auras · 5 Uncommon-tier auras · 7 Rare-tier auras · 1 Limited-tier auras · 10 Epic-tier auras · 1 Legendary-tier auras

Common auras roll early and often - use them for XP feeding by selling. Uncommon through Epic auras are the main combat-viable pool. Legendary and Limited pulls are collection-log endgame.

Element system

Seven elements: Basic, Fire, Earth, Water, Light, Night, Demon. Basic-element auras are the default pool; the other six are element-typed and interact with biome events, gems and traits.

Element-typed auras get +35% luck in their matching biome, benefit from element-luck gems, and trigger biome-specific traits like Surging Haste (Monsoon) or Primal Ascension (Overgrown).

FAQ

How does aura RNG work in Unscathed?

Every roll picks one aura from a pool of 40, weighted by hardcoded base odds. Rare pulls range from 1 in 2 (Common) to 1 in 1,000,000 (Titan's Awakening). Luck modifiers from biomes, gems, potions and traits multiply your effective chance per roll.

What is the rarest aura in Unscathed?

Titan's Awakening at 1 in 1,000,000 base pull odds. It's Legendary-tier with the Earth element.

How do I stack luck in Unscathed?

Chain a matching-element biome window (Monsoon for Water, Rapture for Demon, Overgrown for Earth, Eden for Light, Inferno for Fire, Night for Night), equip the matching element gem, drink a Divine or Fate potion, activate the matching biome trait, and let auto-roll grind through the buff window.

Do gamepasses affect aura RNG?

Auto-roll and Quick Roll gamepasses cut the interval between rolls, effectively multiplying your attempts per hour. Has2XEXP does not affect pull odds but doubles the sell XP from auras you sell, letting you level up faster and unlock better crates.
